“Aaron is a Tibetan Mastiff and we have had him for more than 11 years now. Before him, we had the same breed, and then we just missed having a dog, so we got Aaron. I have loved dogs since I was a child. I love how they always express their feelings. As a child, I didn´t have one but when I got married my husband already did. He loves dogs as well. We got our first dog together when my son, who is a grown up now, was 10 years old. We wanted to teach him something about caring and responsibility, so we bought a big dog because our whole family wanted a big one. We divided the responsibilities of taking him out among each other. We needed to walk him several times a day. I walked him in the morning, my son in the afternoon when he came back from school, and my husband in the evening. With Aaron now, it´s mostly me taking Aaron out in the morning and during the lunch, since our son no longer lives with us. My husband usually does it in the evening. Once you decide to buy or take a dog, you need to accept everything that goes with it and adjust your life accordingly. Since Aaron is older now, he has some medical problems and we need to take care of him more often, but we don´t mind.”
